Does the Bible speak to today’s generation and the problems we face in the real world? In light of the war in Iraq, September 11, and the rising threat of terrorist attacks in the U.S. and around the world, can the Bible give us hope for the future? You need to know the answer to these questions to fully understand what the Bible says about your future! If you’re like so many others, you’re trying to make sense of all the terrible things that are happening in the world. You may have even tried finding answers through therapist, psychics - or even “religion” - but most likely all have left you disappointed and even more confused. You don’t have to be. We can be secure in our future knowing that it is all under God’s control. It’s all in His plan. Nothing can happen unless he gives it the thumbs up. The terrible events we experience today are only a mere drop in the bucket compared to what’s coming in the near future. Remember, I’m not saying this, I’m just telling you what the Bible says. We read in 2 Timothy 3:1 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” In fact, the Bible talks about the “End Time” quite a bit. So it may sound like the Bible is only filled with doom and gloom. This is exactly the opposite of what God’s Holy Word is trying to tell us. It’s a book filled with hope and joy. It’s a book about the Good News.
